The Dragonfly is a small, handy all-around knife. It combines blade control and ergonomic comfort in a compact size. The lightweight handle is formed of fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin and incorporates the Volcano Grip pattern for improved handling. It fits comfortably in any hand, providing a variety of grasp positions for maximum purchase and edge control. Precision is further optimized via the unique finger choil, which overlaps the handle and the satin-finished blade. The
blade is "leaf-shaped" with a hump that gives the user a place to
position the thumb. Along with the finger choil, this hump makes it
easy to direct the cut. The flat grind on the blade is topped with a
swedge to eliminate unnecessary weight and enhance the overall
appearance of the knife, and the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole is
positioned for easy and efficient opening with one hand. The knife
features a positive front lock to prevent the edge from "bottoming"
in the closed position (this is true for all front lock CLIPITs), and
the integral clip creates a "pinky shelf" to increase leverage while
opening. An overall thin piece, the Dragonfly accommodates both
large and small tasks and requires less dexterity for use. Whether
clipped to a pocket or carried in a purse, it is the ideal travel
companion.
The Dragonfly is available either with Stainless(DragonFly II), or Zytel handles,(Original DragonFly).

This is the lightweight Dragonfly's more brutish and heavier cousin. The C28 comes with a stainless steel handle and pocket clip. Chamfered corners along the handle's edge are smooth and rounded keeping the handle from biting into your palm when muscling down on a hard cut. The C28 is a fantastic gentlemen's folder with enough flat surface area for engraving and embellishment. This is one gift that won't be stuck in a sock drawer and forgotten.
